Hi Ladies
Sorry to post such a boring question...
School uniforms.
My DD's are supposed to be blue and white but are quite grey, then when I bleach them of course they become faded.
Does anyone have tips or tricks to keep the colours fresh and the whites white all year long?
Sorry to bore you! I never thought it would come to this!
;)

There's this product I use to bring out the whites. It is a powder but in comes in sachets. I think they are used for whitening lace curtains. I also use it for towels and bedsheets. Drying in the sun is good if you have access to a backyard or balcony. As for the blue uniforms try clorox for colors (the powder is better than the liquid form). Good luck.

never use bleach just normal washing powder and fabric softener, why bleach? if they are covered in paint or pen so be it, they are uniforms and if they get dirty they get dirty, better them then your normal clothes.

Ours aren't bleached, just washed in normal fashion by non-bio and softener in the washing machine and then hung up to dry inside the house. All good.
