My husband and I had a similar issue. We had to send our Spanish wedding certificate back to the municipality where we were married to get a stamp then it had to be stamped by the Spanish Department of Foreign Affairs. Once we got it back from Spain it had to be stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs here in Abu Dhabi. You need to talk to someone in the Seychelles about where to start. It can be a tedious process...good luck!
Hi everyone, need your advise if you have faced the same issue. We got married in the Seychelles Island but we both live in Abu Dhabi, UAE. So how do we legalize our Marriage certificate in UAE? it was issued by the registrar of Seychelles. Me and my husband are both citizens of different countries (UK and Kyrgyzstan) therefore it was easier for us to get married in Seychelles rather than here in UAE. Thanks, would appreciate if you can share some useful info. Cheers

think you have to send it back to where you got married.... in future anyone that marries outside their normal abode, should before they leave get it attested, just in case in the future they will be working in the mena which requires it.
