Let's save our children from BULLIES...
My child was bulled in a top-rated British school in Al Ain where the school authority did very little to stop it. The result of those years of bullying, my child became a school withdrawal in Secondary and preferred social isolation. After countless counselling, he is slowly gaining the confidence he lost in the Primary School.
Please do not ignore when your child comes home and says he was alone at lunch or snack breaks. I thought my child needs to find ways to make friends. How wrong I was! Please talk to their teachers and check that they are finding ways for your child to have companionship.
Please talk to your child as often as possible to know if he is happy at school. Please address any concern of verbal or physical abuse asap with the class teacher. If the abuse don't stop; take it to Head of the School. It might not be pleasant to bring about the same issue again and again with the school BUT believe me you shouldn't care of anyone BUT your CHILD. You will save your family and yourself from so much grief.
