Aren't there any procedures which you have to undergo? As far as I am concerned I just want to get rid of her (for her own good) and so does my husband , but as her sponsors what are we supposed to do? Who do we have to inform, and how does the whole visa thing work around here?

Sorry, we were posting at the same time. Sounds as if your maid has troubles in her life, perhaps she got caught up in the problems in the Philipines and is suffering from PTSD? Do you want to help her? Getting therapy may help, perhaps?

As far as I can gather...book her a ticket home, tell her to pack her bag while you watch, take her to the airport, pay her what she's due, put her on the plane...then cancel her visa. Unless you feel you can recommend her to someone else in which case you could advertise for another job for her and transfer her across... Depends on why you're getting rid of her, I guess.

Basically ever since we have arrived here from Schaan last year my DH and I have been having trouble with finding a maid. Three months ago we had hired one directly from the Philipines, however ever since her arrival she has been having troubles. Firstly, she has been refusing to eat much and her weight has dropped and during the nighttime she has been having nightmares and we had once found her hiding under the bed. This is a very serious issue and I am looking for serious advice.
