Hello all,
This is my first post! I am planning to move over to Abu Dhabi from the US this spring to meet my husband (who just got there!) We have 3 small children (almost 4yrs, 2yrs, and 5 months). He is just starting to look at places but I am interested in what are good areas to live with little ones? We like to play outside as much as possible, talk walks, go to the parks now but Im not sure what life in AD is like! We were wanting to spend around 150k if its possible. Any suggestions to good areas with lots of expats/young children? Thanks!
in outer areas there arent many parks yet, they will come but not for a couple of years. off island look at a reef, raha gardens if your budget will stretch, kca or kcb, al raha beach, khalifa park for apartments but its next to khalifa park, there are plenty of parks in town. al reem is new so there isnt anything there.
if you are needing school places, that is more important to get sorted than a house, as there are many houses to choose from, but no school places, and the early years are the most over subscribed.
