i guess you should be looking for the place where you can easily access shopping, play groups, coffee mornings, nurseries. i am not in abu dhabi yet, but what i learn withing your budget will be Al Reem island, if you are happy with an apartment life, or Al Reef, Hydra village - on outskirt, but townhouse type.

Hoping some of you lovely ladies will be able to help! My husband is getting posted to abu dhabi for work, and will be going next week to look for places. Once he finds a place to live then my daughter and i will join him. Im a bit apprehensive because i wont be there when he picks the place, so wanted some input from mothers who are already living there.
What are good areas to live in with an 8 month old? I wont put her in a nursery right away, but would like to live in a place where i can take her out for a walk by myself. Would be nice if theres a mall or other activities to do close by.
Our budget limit is 110k, suggestions within this budget would be appreciated :)
