Need help shipping furniture!

Can anyone please help me? I'm moving out to Fujairah in the next few months and I'm planning on shipping furniture but I don't have a clue were to start! I'm moving from the north east of England and at the minute I don't know whereabouts in Fujairah we will be living. It's my husband who has the job and we believe the company he will be working for give us a shipping allowance but not sure of the amount as of yet. If anyone could shed some light of just how to make a start I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you make sure that you have in writing how much they will pay, check if its per volume or weight? use the main shippers like allied pickfords etc, you will need an address for customs in fujariah otherwise it will stay at the port, which port will it come in, dubai dibba etc, if dubai then it will need to be moved by road. dont put in candles or things that will melt. the shipping company will tell you what you are and are not allowed, certain things are not allowed.
