i have done my test and glass from pearle in wadha mall but i have seen its now changed to vision express. but i had to get my 14 year old tested and i researched it all and as a child they should be seen by a proper optomologist (or whatever they are called) and have eye drops put in etc, in the end i choose the new al noor, they were very very good, very through, it did take a while, one of the docs wasnt sure about something so went and got the "consultant" next level up to double check etc and it cost me 30 dhs as thats what i had to pay on my insurance etc. if you go to any of the shops they will not usually charge you for an exam if you buy the glasses from them but it depends on what you need.
