I've recently moved here with my one year old baby and I was hoping you could recommend a paediatrician please. He/she would need to be fluent in English, but it doesn't have to be their first language. I need to take baby to the doc tomorrow so I would really appreciate your ideas.

There are several pediatricians at Gulf Diagnostic, but only one at The Cure so it may be easier to get an appt at GD. There is a walk-in pediatric clinic at the American European Medical Center. I have only used it once, but the woman who is the head of pediatrics (sorry can't remember her name) saw my child and was great! I have tried a number of pediatricians in AD and these are the ones I like. Good luck! For future reference, and hope you never need it, there is a pediatric emergency department at Sheikh Khalifa hospital.
