I have the same problem in my apartment but wanted to try a natural repellent first as I have a baby at home. Cockroaches don't like eucalyptus essential oil, as I didn't have any I used Vicks Vaporub in the kitchen cabinet where I had seen them. It was one week ago and I haven't seen a single cockroach since :-)
