Please Advice...
I am 7 weeks of pregnancy. I just started Foli tab (5mg) and vitabiotics Osteocare multivitamins 1 tab every day which I brought from pharmacy without visiting doctor. Do you think I am on rightway though I have to use those vitamins before my pregnancy but I was not aware of this before.
I couldn't take appointment for doctor for early check up because I do not have insurance and id card as well. Its under process though I have finished visa medical and emirates id not completed because of not issuing health insurance. My husband's company already submitted application but still approval waiting from abudhabi health insurance authority.

Please advise me this is my first pregnancy I am so stressed still I could not visit the doctor for check up and his/her advice.

I am so sorry I really don't know of good places in Abu Dhabi. Might be a suggestion if write a separate post asking other members on the site if they have any good suggestions through experiences. Wishing you the very best of luck with everything. xxx

Hi laxmi1988, I am not a doctor. But as far as I am aware folic acid is recommended during pregnancy and I believe vitamin D but you can get vitamin D from just walking in the sunshine for just a little bit. All I will say is just eat and drink healthily then, when you can go, follow the advice of your doctor. If you are at all concerned I am sure that you could even call up a hospital or a clinic and ask if someone can just put your mind at ease otherwise you're just going to get worried even more. xxxxx:)

Thank you very much for the advice. Do you think that folic acid and multivitamins I am taking has any side effects though I did not take doctor's Prescription. Or I should stop taking it until visit the GP.

It is advised that women should take Folic Acid tablets during early pregnancy although with regards to other vitamins you should be advised by a GP. You should get enough nutrients from your diet from fruit, veg, meat and milk etc so not requiring extra vitamins. Best advise I can suggest until your paperwork is completed is look after yourself. Eat and drink sensibly with foods that are good for your health and the health and development for your little bundle of joy. Then once your paperwork is sorted go straight to your GP just to put your mind at rest. Good luck with your pregnancy. xxx:heart:
