Rihan Heights is next to the Zayed Sports Stadium and near The Grand Mosque. I know there is a small Spinneys and a Costa Coffee on site. It's about 15 mins into the city from there and and probably about 20 mins to get to the airport.

rihan heights is a new development so not a problem there. best to go onto salam st and onto sowhah island, but the traffic is quite "solid" from 19th to the exit to reem but moves slowly, and the bottleneck getting off salam to reem (as they have 2 lanes for all the traffic of abu dhabi that is going that way, and 4 lanes of traffic for the other directions)

Hi, Rihan Heights looks nice from outside. They might have a fb group. There is a very useful website called abudhabiwoman. I know that al noor hospital is opposite the building, so you will def have a pharmacy. Don't know about other shops. Mushrif mall is approx. 15 min drive away. Good luck with the move! Btw I love LV :)

Hello, I'm writing from home in Las Vegas - hubby is going to be working at Cleveland Clinic and company provided housing is in Rihan Heights. I will be following him later. I have googled and found very little on this area in the form of reviews or information. Is anybody living there or near there and can you tell me if you like it? We are new empty nesters so schools are not an issue for us, but I'm hoping that shopping (basics - grocery, pharmacy, etc) is not too far away. I will probably be a lurker for the next few months before I actually get over there, but I'm soaking the info up like a sponge :) Thanks!
