definitely grab the place. your daughter in the mean time can afford to go to nursery or stay at home but I assume your son in older hence it would be a problem if he is not accepted anywhere.
I second what BB2 was said - take the school place (hard to come by in AD) and work on getting your daughter into a nursery. I recommend Bright Begginings Nursery from experience - my DD went there for 2.5 years and loved it. They do have big wait lists though so would contact them ASAP. Other people also use Stepping Stones, Jigsaw etc but all decent nurseries all have waiting lists here in AD. Good luck.
take the place, at least with nursery you can put them in other places, once you have one child in then you will go up the list. but of course some people have had to wait 1.5 years for a place. unfortunately the good nurseries will still have big waiting lists, it doesnt really matter if big school or little school.
Hi all - any help GREATLY appreciated........we live in Qatar at the moment, due to move to Abu Dhabi in April. Our son has been offered a place at BSAK but unfortunately they do not have anything in FS1 for our daughter. I know BSAK has a good reputation so I am very keen to take the place offered and just hope a place will come up for her eventually. Does anyone know of any good nurseries where we could send her for a term? What would you do in our position? Take the BSAK place?????
Thanks, Anna
