Hi all,

I’ve recently moved to Abu Dhabi (3rd week here!) and I’d love to start meeting new people and making new friends.

I’m in my early 30’s, single and from Sydney. I work during the week so would be available to meet up on a Friday or Saturday.

I enjoy eating out, reading (want to join a bookclub!), art, photography, shopping (of course!), seeing bands, travelling and meeting new people!

I also want to join a Health Club/Gym and all of my internet searches take me to Hiltonia – is it good?

If you’re interested in meeting up drop me a line
:)

Al Nahyan, will be fine for both of those clubs, max 10-15 mins. We are heading out for ladies night tomorrow - Left Bank, Shangri La. 8:30pm. Will send you an email with my number.

Hey Bella, Thanks for the gym info, I've heard of the AD Country Club & British Club so will have to check them out. I enjoy classes aswell so it's great that they are included in the membership. I'll be living in Al Nahyan so not sure if that's close or not?! I'm still getting my bearings here :-) Ladies night sounds great, would love to come along! My email is [email protected] You'll have to fill me in on how your first year in AD went!

Also a single(ish) gal, from the UK been in AD just over a year. We have a good group of girlies who go out for ladies nights during the week as often as we can (pretty much weekly!!!). So feel free to join. I am a member of the AD Country Club for the gym as the classes are all inclusive so it works out the best value for me, as I much prefer doing classes. Plus it has a pool, normal gym etc. And I am also a member of the Club (aka The British Club) which is pretty reasonable too, which has a pool, beach and really great and cheap restaurants. (Both of these memberships cost me less than Hiltonia - which you then have to pay for extras on top, like classes etc.) Depends also where you are located, as they might not be convenient.

Wow! That's great! I hope you'll enjoy more your new lifestyle in that place. I'm pretty sure that while you are in a new beautiful place, you miss your friends and family in Sydney. Always get in touch with them and share your new amazing experiences in Abu Dhabi. edited by KathyRose on 03/10/2011
