Could someone PLEASE recommend a window cleaner in Khalifa City A? It is a brand new villa and the windows have never been cleaned. It will really feel like we are settled when the windows are done (and the toilet is unblocked, and the water gets connected and things stop leaking......it really is a bit of a nightmare villa!).
Any recommendations please.
xx

I would love to be able to squirt the windows down with the hose but we are still not connected to mains water and have limited water. We keep running out, literally. We have gone a few nights in a row without having showers, my husband is totally peeved with the whole deal! The toilet is clear of rubble, the story is that they need to move the toilet out from the wall further so as it will flush, it is a design fault. So we will have the downstairs toilet sitting in the middle of the room....... will look great I am sure. The whole upstairs tiles are so badly stained and chipped that they need to replace the whole floor...... we are supposed to live here while they are doing this. I have just asked if they could please just carpet it all instead, waiting on their response. Between, A/C 's not working, hot water systems not working, doors that don't close, taps that leak. We have been here for 4 weeks now so just about over this. Not happy.

Lol BB........ unbelievable the build quality here. It is so hard to settle because workman keep traipsing through. Nothing like I was expecting for a brand new villa. My maid has fallen pregnant and she is back home in the Philippines now so I am doing it all on my own. Not the way I imagined it. It is a BIG job and not even our house to be putting this much time and money into finishing it. Grrrrrrrr! yeh i know, its just the sand everywhere. blocked toilets in new houses: get them to take all the concrete rubbish that is usually down the drain, then it may work better. windows : spray them with the hosepipe and then you can see if they are waterproof for when it rains again. there is no point in cleaning the house until all the workmen are finished, just having the door open lets in all the sand. yes the build quality, well what do you expect when its 1 man and his shovel building it....lol (usually)
