With rides and attractions for the whole family, Snow Abu Dhabi will open on Reem Island late next year.
If you thought Ski Dubai was big, you're soon to be mistaken as the UAE will soon be the home of a 'cool' new attraction that will be four times the size of the Dubai ski park.
Snow Abu Dhabi is a new destination on Reem Island in the UAE's Capital that will feature 13 world-class rides and attractions, including Blizzard's Bazaar, Snowflake Garden and Flurries' Mountain.
Spread over 125,000 square feet, the destination will emulate an 'enchanted world' with a wide range of chilly activities, spread across different zones.
In each zone, visitors will find various things to do with some of Ski Abu Dhabi's own characters, like enjoying the Crystal Carousel and the standing in awe at the Enchanted Tree.
Once open, the park will maintain a rather cool temperature of -2 degrees Celsius, and a snow depth of 500mm.
“With an incredible story and stunning visual attractions, Snow Abu Dhabi will deliver truly enchanting experiences for the whole family,” said Shane Eldstrom, CEO of Al Farwaniya Property Developers.
“The activities and environments will work together, allowing guests to make new discoveries and experience shared memories, while creating a destination to which they wish to return again and again.
"The story behind Snow Park Abu Dhabi is the great differentiator from any other snow park in the world, and we look forward to revealing more details in due course.”
The snow play park - set to become the world’s largest destination of its kind – is part of the leisure and entertainment projects being delivered by Al Farwaniya Property Developers, Majid Al Futtaim Ventures and Thinkwell at the $1.2 billion Reem Mall development.
Construction on Reem Mall began in late 2017 and is anticipated to be complete by late 2020. The retail, dining and leisure destination will offer 2 million-sq-ft of leasable area comprising of 450 stores, including 100 dining options and a range of entertainment options.
