Express PCR tests and Covid-19 tests at home are available for additional fees.

Abu Dhabi health officials have called on all health and medical centres in the UAE capital to offer Covid-19 PCR tests for AED 65, according to state news agency Wam.ae.

The emirate's Department of Health added that express Covid-19 test services that can provide results within two to five hours will remain available for AED 250, as well as results within one to two hours for AED 350.

Any UAE resident who wish to take a PCR test from home must contact a health centre, and an additional fee will be applied for this service.

As of Wednesday, the nation has conducted over 70 million Covid tests since pandemic started, and about more than 17 million vaccine doses have been administered to the public.

An estimated 82.82% of the UAE population have received at least one dose, while 73.21% is fully vaccinated, reported The National.

Walk-ins for the Covid-19 vaccine are now available in Abu Dhabi, announced the capital's Media Office on the official Twitter account.
