Baking soda is one of the most common items in every kitchen but most commonly used in baking. Did you know that it has a long list of uses? It is practically a must-have in a home because of the amazing wonders of its uses.

Here are some of the uses of baking soda:

1. Clean your filthy oven with baking soda.

Stuck with a dirty oven? Make it look shiny and new by sprinkling baking soda to the bottom. Spray with water to moisten the baking soda and let it sit overnight. When you wake up, scrub and scoop the baking soda and the grime that will come out with a cleaning sponge. Even easier, you can also vacuum the crumbs and then rinse after. 
 

2. Clean the microwave. 

As it is with cleaning your oven, finding a gentle cleanser without ruining the interior or finding cleansers without harsh fragrance can be difficult when it comes to cleaning the microwave. You can use baking soda for that! Dampen a clean sponge and sprinkle baking soda on it. Gently clean the inside and outside of your microwave and then rinse well with water. No need to worry about harsh smells!

Coffee and tea stains can be hard to remove. You can eliminate them by washing mugs and pots with a solution made from baking soda! You can also scrub them with baking soda on a clean sponge.

You can use baking soda by placing an open box of it inside the fridge to get rid of unpleasant odors. You can also sprinkle, scrub and rinse your chopping board with baking soda.
