Guess who's back?
Because we’ve been waiting for him to return, "The Real Slim Shady" icon Eminem is jetting back to Abu Dhabi this October. After last performing in 2012 for the Formula 1 weekend, the rapper is taking to the du Arena stage on Yas Island on Friday, October 25 for yet another spectacular live event.
Eminem’s return to the UAE is part of his global "Kamikaze" tour.
Released in August 2018, the album shot to No. 1 on the US Billboard charts and joined his other previous chart-topping tracks from Bad Meets Evil, D-12, and his film 8 Mile.
Fans coming to the show can expect the artist to perform a range of songs from every Eminem era.
One of the best in the business
Over the course of his career, Eminem has sold more than 130 million albums and 389 million singles worldwide. He was Nielsen SoundScan’s top-selling artist of the 2000s decade with 32.2 million albums sold.
Eminem was also named Billboard’s Artist of the Decade from 2000 to 2009. In addition, he has won 15 Grammy Awards and an Academy Award.
The digital edition of his 2010 album, “Recovery,” was the first album in the U.S. to ever go platinum in that medium.
John Lickrish, CEO of Flash Entertainment, said "Eminem has maintained his stronghold of being one of the best in the business throughout his career and we're thrilled he will be performing for us on the stage in du Arena in what promises to be an unforgettable show."
