Moving from Ireland to Bahrain

My husband and I along with our 18 month old are moving to Bahrain later this year.
Any advice regarding best area to live would be greatly appreciated. Ultimately we want to live in a house but wondering if we should take an apartment to start with and get on our feet.
Is there areas that are better suited to families with children? My husband will be working, I’ll be staying home with our son, so I want to be sure we’re picking the right area to get us off on the right foot.
