We just bought glasses for my 4 year old. I'm not too hopeful that he will be able to keep his glasses on while at school, at play, etc., unless he has one of those straps that go around the back of the head. Unfortunately, Yateem Opticians (Marina Mall) didn't have any. Anyone know of a store that does stock them?

Thanks for the idea, SJAussie. I ended up finding the sports type strap at a sunglasses stall in Mazyad Mall. They're adjustable, so do the work fine, and seem to be making the difference between him keeping his glasses on all day or constantly putting them down somewhere.

Have never had to look for any so can't say for sure sorry but the other thing maybe worth trying would be a sports shop that might sell the foam/estastic style ones that people use to keep their glasses on while doing sport. Might Even if they only had adult ones, you might be able to cut/sow them to make them smaller to fit his head. Hope that helps, good luck.
