Another boring thread....but can anyone recommend a good picture framers and (ideally the same place) somewhere that can put mirror glass into a frame? Have done a search but all the threads seemed to be Dubai places.

Ideally somewhere round Khalidiya / Al Bateen.

Last month I had 2 maps drymounted above Spinney's Kahlidiyah and they were aed 50 each. When I wanted a third one done I went to Posters in Al Wahda mall and they gave me a quote of AED 140 for the exact same thing. In the past I have had framing done at both places and they both do a good job, but the one above Spinney's is much less expensive. Good luck!

I second BB2 sugegstion for the picture framer opposite AD Mall (actually it is more kind of opp Beach Rotana - park out front or next door at the City Airport terminal) - they are good and reasonably priced. They can be a little off with their glass cleaning and I have made them pull apart pictures again and clean the glass before resealing the back again. But if you let them know up front that you are picky they are pretty good. Another good framer who is accurate is Folk Lore Gallery on Electra Street in Khaladiya but they are pricier. pictures go to upstairs spinneys, or posters (more expensive) in either wadha or abelas otherwise a good place over opposite ad mall. places around najda st or 7th st may also do it, but not framers more like glass people.
