Stuff For Cats...
Just wondering if anyone wants a few things for cats that I am getting rid of.
I have 2 small travel crates, not tall enough to be approved for air travel but fine for taking the cat (or small dog) to and fro the vet. Free
I also have a toilet training kit if anyone is thinking about giving it a try. I will say however, that this should likely be tried with cats under 2 years. I tried it with my girls three different times and if I had stuck with it early on it may have worked. In the end, they were both willing to pee in toilet, but that was it! Also, I did not realize until a week or so after I gave up for the final time, but it was really affecting them in not a good way. I thought it was a phase or their age, but once back on their proper litter box they were back running and chasing each other, cuddling together, playing more and just happier. I really felt bad when I finally realized they were being adversely affected.... so there is my 2 cents on that one. Free
I have an automatic litter box which worked excellent in the beginning, but it needs tweaking now if someone has a handy husband out there. It still works, but the rake which is operated by a motion detector and pushes the bits to the end, fails to return to its proper position approx 1 in 3 times. I lugged it over from Dubai last year. It will be in the trash next week, just thought I would mention it here as it really was great and not cheap! Free
Lastly, I have an automatic water fountain which is in proper working order that I will sell for QAR 100. The cats love to drink from it and I also brought it here from Dubai. The reason I am parting with it is because we are moving and will not be in a huge villa anymore, space is a premium. This "Drinkwell" fountain is only about 1' square, but I have been advised that we will be tripping over it, so it goes!
Anyone interested in this stuff can email me on heather and mark at hotmail dot com.
