Which was the point of my post. Unless there is a market (which you have elaborated on) for an English lawyer in Qatar then the post makes little sense, at least to me.
The OP makes a plea for "Do you know of anyone looking for a Lawyer? if so please let me know urgently as things are not looking good for us....." this seems like a last ditch effort rather than just looking for a place where ones skills/education might be required. which is why I asked for elaboration. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Marycatherine, there IS a market for expat lawyers mostly specializing in corporate law.. inhouse or with lawfirms.
Santorini, from what I know (DH is a lawyer here) there is a demand for lawyers, I will ask him if he knows who's recruiting.
Hope you find something soon.
Why would an English lawyer be an advantage here in Qatar, with Qatari law? Other than perhaps from a language point of view, unless there is a market looking for a lawyer familiar with the English legal system (perhaps operating a business in the UK)?
Sorry but your message doesn't have enough information for anyone to be of much concrete assistance unless you expand?
