I'm new to the emirates and want to learn photography now I have a little more time on my hands. Any recommendations? I'd prefer to take a class in Abu Dhabi.

I have taken classes with Gulf Photo Plus Instructor Tonya Colson, she is really great and teaches class at times in Abu Dhabi ( I have taken her classes in Dubai). Not sure of the schedule, check their website for class offerings.

Hi and welcome to the UAE Lisa! I second Graceful's suggestion of GPP - I've taken a class with them in Abu Dhabi before and it was lovely! If I recall the class was at GEMS Academy in Khalifa City...All the info is on their website, just google them! :) I know you'll have fun...
