Hello All, I will be moving to Abu Dhabi this coming summer and need to find out about the availability of gluten-free and lacto-free products. Can anyone tell me if any of the supermarkets stock gluten-free bread and lacto-free milk. Many thanks.

You can order online at http://www.organicfoodsandcafe.com/. I am not sure if home delivery for Abu Dhabi is possible, but you can order what you want and pick up at their shop in Masdar city. In this shop you can find some lacto nad gluten free products, but assortment is much better online (or in their shops in Dubai).

you can find in Lulu, carrefour, coop, spinneys, waitrose.. pretty much everywhere.. but it's like a small section which is annoying..

Thanks for the information ladies. I'm sure the gluten-free products will be expensive but at least if I know they are available, it's a help. Maybe a bread maker might be a good purchase ahead of our arrival, given that Spinneys stock GWF flour.

Hi Spinneys stock gluten free products but they are expensive - even more than at home!! They also have gluten free flour if you wanted to do your own baking. Hope that helps I will keep an eye out in other stores as I am wheat free.
