My family and I are relocating to Al Ain in August and are starting to look for somewhere to live. I am looking to find out the areas which are nice in Al Ain, any areas to avoid and any other information on relocating that may help us.

Al Ain is a really lovely city in which to live. I don't think there are any places to avoid, maybe Sanayia, perhaps, which really is an industrial area. There are lovely parks etc for the kids. There are several malls, everything is available. It is quiet and peaceful expect for Schools Road at 7.30am on a school day.

Al Ain is relatively small and I wouldnt say there are any areas to specifically avoid really. I think it will depend on your budget, housing preference (compound, stand alone villa), and where your employment is located as to where is best for you
