We are interested in getting housing/Villa or large flat by the mall in Baniyas. I read somewhere that Baniyas is for locals only. Is this true or are there areas for expats near the mall? Our second preference is Mushrif area, again near the mall. Any info would be so much appreciated.

Our second preference is Mushrif area, again near the mall. Any info would be so much appreciated. the new villa and apartment development next door to the mall is private its not local housing project... the other houses which you see coming up from the main motorway are local housing much older and all the same.... i would say that the babwat al sharq ones are legal to rent. in mushrif its all ok no local housing areas there.
