Hi All, Contemplating a sudden move to AD this summer. What is the lifestyle like for teenagers? I have a 14 year old son (2 younger ones as well) but was wondering if there are communities where kids play in the streets with parks and go to each other homes etc? We currently live in the US but he doesn't have that here and tends to spend weekends playing on the computer (other than soccer). Otherwise we have to arrange to have friends dropped over! Just wondering what they get up to on weekends. The school we're considering is GEMS American Academy. Any information appreciated :) do you have places? there is a big lack of spaces for all aged kids, although older ones should be a little easier. gems is a good school. if you get into there in kca look at raha gardens. remember tho you dont go out much as its too hot. and unless you live in a big compound and your friends are close by you still have the same issue of driving them everywhere its too hot to walk.
