Are these exams mandatory for school graduates in UAE even if they finish from British curriculum or IB? Is this a new rule or I just found out about it?

What are the minimum requirements for secondary school graduation in UAE?

I knew about the arabic test. We plan to study in IB and then university in Europe. Even so it seems to be mandatory to pass these 2 exams in order your graduation to be recognised by UAE Ministry of Education. Otherwise your transcript from the school would not be recognised. Not very clear for me if is true or not. Thank you! edited by smartlady on 18/06/2014
