Dr. Tabassum Perveen
Dr. Tabassum Perveen is an Obstetrics and Gynecology Consultant at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital.
Dr. Tabassum has more than 25 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She trained at Aga Khan Medical University Hospital, Karachi and Tallaght University Hospital, Dublin, Ireland.
Prior to joining Mediclinic in Abu Dhabi, Dr. Tabassum was a consultant at another reputable hospital Abu Dhabi where she worked for 18 years and was Lead Colposcopist for the cervical screening programme. She was also Site Director for the internship programme and part of the core teaching faculty of the obstetrics and gynaecology programme at the same hospital, and was involved with formulating guidelines for antibiotic administration and colposcopy.
Dr. Tabassum has a special interest in teaching and research, and had presented in several national and international conferences. She has also published papers in medical journals.
She completed her colposcopy training as a BSCCP, UK accredited trainer. Dr. Tabassum has presented in several national and international conferences.
She is currently a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK.
