Dr. Abed Kanzy
Dr. Abed Kanzy is a Consultant Endocrinologist at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Kanzy graduated from the University of Kassala in Sudan, following which he travelled to the USA where he completed his residency and American board certification in internal medicine at Michigan State University/ Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan.
He then completed an Endocrinology fellowship at the University of Toledo, Ohio and was later awarded the American board certification in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
He is also American board certified in Obesity Medicine. He worked as an assistant professor of Medicine and consultant Endocrinologist at the University of Toledo in Ohio, USA.
He provides comprehensive medical care, including diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of endocrine diseases, for adult patients in outpatient and inpatient settings, performs thyroid ultrasounds, manages insulin pumps and interprets continuous glucose monitoring data.
