Amy, if the option is still open can I claim one of the Britas? I would love to have one and have been trying to find one everywhere. Email removed! edited by katcalls on 19/09/2011

If you do find a Brita in town can you please post where you find it? We brought one back from the states last time we were home and will run out of filter refills soon.....

Thanks for replies....have water delivered already....I know it is supposed to be filtered, and I use it for drinking....but my kettle is furring up due to limescale and thought maybe Brita water filter might correct that...Thanks for offer Amy, I am on holiday right now so will scout about for one here first.

We brought two Brita filter jugs out with us and we don't use them - you're welcome to take one or both of them off our hands if you like. I think we still have some cartridges too.

We looked around for one last year with no luck...we wound up getting a water cooler thing. They do have the filters that screw onto your sink at Carrefour. I use Safa water delivery 44606699, they deliver the water once a week. You buy a coupon booklet and the water bottles come out to about 6.50 QR each. You can buy a counter top cooler thing at carrefour for about 45 QR but it doesn't cool the water.
