Possibly looking at moving to Al Reem once we arrive in two months.

Any advice on the best tower to live in?

Or does anyone live in the duplexes or townhouses there?

I would prefer not to drive so is this too far out and how easy is it to meet new people on the area?

Any advice greatly received.

Hi JL1, we are moving Abudhabi by end of May, Al reem is also one of our top choice. Can tell me more about which tower is good? we have a baby so hopefully good surroundings and easy access to grocery shops. Also how's the price range like? Many thanks!

I have now arrived and have been looking around Al Reem and we like it so it is now our number one choice. Hopefully making final decision on tower today! Thanks for the information ladies. Really appreciated.

Hi JL1. Al Reem island is really nice place to live, very accessible as what Joanna said and it's away from busy city. All the 3 towers are great, clean and well maintained. Duplex and townhouses are expensive it would cost you maybe around 200-300k AED/year and you need to drive 15-30mins to reach the City if you will be working around downtown abu dhabi. ;)

In my opinion, Al Reem is a good place to live. At the Gate Towers is a bus stop for the number 63 and No. 7. Both buses going to the Marina Mall. At the Gate Towers is located Boutik Mall with Waitrose supermarket. Nearby are also: Beach Tower, Sun Tower, Mangrove Place, The Arc. You need to know what is important to you. For me, the balcony is necessary. Not in every building are balconies. On Reem Island they are still creating new towers :)

I'm also interested in this. Specifically, the Marina Square area or Mangrove Place building.
