Thanks for the offer BB2, i did actually just go ahead and do them in Mussaffah as it was easier to do them there while the car as in for service. I expect we were ripped off but i called the Gulf tires guy on airport road and it was only about 200 dirhams cheaper(lazy i know!!) Thanks again for your offer, you sound like you might already have a busy week with the kids anyway, without worrying about my tires xx but that works out at 50 a tyre, the one that i used before in mussafah was only like 10 dhs dearer than gulf tyres, so they do give out a pretty good price. oh no worries, always around that area could have gone in and haggled with them, they know me!

i have another place that i have used in mussafah but they are usually like 10 dhs more than what i get in the end from gulf tyres. prices have risen since last time i needed tyres but not that much. maybe 20 dhs each tyre from the price like 1 year ago. the other place that i have used is firestone garage in mussfah, go past the first set of lights, at the next lights do a u turn and then take the next proper right, they are on the corner big red and blue signs i believe. they are good too. i think the cheapest place though in uae is sharjah.

i use gulf tyre 02 4436220 they always give me the best price as being here so long. it depends on what tyres you need i have recently got firestone for patrol 4x4 and they were 450 each but for my ford mustang they were like 750 being a sports car they have more steel so are more expensive. Hey thanks for the replies ladies I did find the place your talking about BB2, they quoted me 1300 each as its also a sports car with 19inch tyres!!! Is it still too much, maybe i was caught in the "shes a lady'' trap, should i send the hubby instead??? r you in a rush, can it wait until like tuesday. if you let me know the size etc i will go in and ask them what there best price is, kids on hols sun/mon so i can do tuesday.
