Hi All

I am not sure if this is the right board to post on - but i need some advice for a friend of mine. She has separated from her husband (they both British) they have a 4 month old son. she is moving away from UAE and would like to know what her monetary entitlement is. The husband is not agreeable to a regular fixed amount. It was my thoughts that this is not the case here in the UAE that the ex husband has to support his wife and child. Any information that you can give would be extremely helpful as this is starting to become an inharmonious situation for all involved. Basically what are her legal rights? (she is not returning to UK or indeed inside the EU either) TIA

Am not sure about alimony and child support but I do know that he can get custody of the child as in UAE it is usually the father that gets custody of children if it goes to court....so she should ...
A lot of changes with regards to family law, better seek an advise to a legal professional, highly recommend this law firm https://www.alrowaad.ae/ as they always give their best for their clients.

There was no way she could chase him whilst he lived in the UAE, if he moves back to the UK then she could
