Hi there,

I would be so grateful if someone can help me with this...

I am moving to AD in September and will go on to my husbands visa. I will be 20 weeks by the time I fly over.

I am aware there is a waiting period before you can claim maternity cover on most plans. Are there any insurance companies that let you pay a higher premium to cover Maternity. Reading some very old posts it appears that ADNIC do and possibly Daman. If anyone has any experience with this recently and can confirm if this is still the case I would be eternally grateful.

I believe my husbands health insurance will be with Daman.

Huge thanks in advance to anyone that can help.
Becca

Hi, I am on Daman and I can confirmed to you that there is no waiting period. However you need to get pregnant once you are already covered and not before. Not really sure about the rest of the company, if not check with hospitals. Many offers delivery packages that could be interesting in case you are not covered by the insurance. Good luck :)
