if you were to go down a new contract you would need to then prob get the tawtheeq updated too! i would just add as said before a clause to it to extend for 1 month here, but where is the rental market quiet? do tell.

All you need is an annex to the existing contract to extent the lease by one month. The rest of the contract remains the same

Does anyone know if you can extend a rental contract by one month. Our tenant would like to stay for one more month after the lease finishes in our apartment. We don't mind as the rental market appears to be quiet. I'm guessing we will need to give them a new contract which is easy enough but I'm not sure of the legalities of it and really who I need to ask. Can anyone help?
