Moving a Yr 10 student over from Doha to AD?
I'd appreciate any responses from anyone who has had to move their child during their first few months of GCSE's.
There's a good possiblity that my DH's job will be moved from Doha over to Abu Dhabi around Oct/Nov. Our son is due to start his GCSE's in September and I'm having a panic attack already thinking about the upheaval to his schooling.
Here in Qatar there's a ridiculous rule that states that no child can start a new school until the beginning of the school year. Please tell me AD doesn't have the same rule?
The I/GCSE options he has chosen are fairly standard ones so I'm not concerned about the options. Did anyone have any problems with finding a place for Yr10?
It's a real pain when you can't co-ordinate the job/school change to be at the same time.
