Think it depends on which grade you'd be teaching (KG, primary or 10 - 12). Primary may have discipline issues, for example. In KGs you would be working in partnership with a local teacher. Flexibility and a willingness to learn counts for a lot - Abu Dhabi schools are in a state of transition, and there are reasons for this - if everything were fine they wouldn't be going through the reform process they're going through, and they wouldn't be hiring expat teachers - something to bear in mind!
