Our lease will be expiring soon. However, dh is not too confident the company he works for will be operating for another year or so. Therefore we are reluctant to enter a 1 year contract when leasing a new apartment. We have to get a rent loan from the bank which means we can't just give 3 months notice -basically you are stuck with the bank.

I have seen ads for hotel apartments for 12k (bit much of us) but they are 1 bed or studios. Any other alternatives? All info greatly appreciated.

We are staying at Staybridge suites on Yas island at the moment and we love it. We got 2 rooms plus a family room and small kitchen: http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/sb/1/en/hotel/auhis There is a swimming pool, gaming room, free breakfast, gym, pantry and laundry facilities (other than the washing/drying machine in each suite).

Hi. I'm looking for a monthly let for about 3 months starting as soon as possible. Anyone know of any nearer to the airport? Is there anything on Yas Island? Also, MBZ city seems within driving distance to the airport. Does anyone have a contact for the people letting the 'vision' apartments? It's probably best to go there and speak to someone, but where exactly is this? Right beside the Mall? Sorry, but I'm new in Abu Dhabi and don't know my way around very well... :( Thank you!! <em>edited by Sissy on 13/08/2011</em>

Next to the Mazyad Mall in MBZ city, there are some hotels apartments, I think called "Vision", and they charge 8K per month for a 2-bed furnished, the apartments have nice finishes and lots of free parking outside. Thank you . Worth investigating.
