I have a few questions if anyone can help about taking money back into the UK
1. Can you exchange large amounts of money and just walk through customs with it at Heathrow? If yes, what does happen if you get stopped?? Any taxes to pay or questions to answer??? How much can you take in?
2. I know you can transfer money online through banks, but how much is allowed and again, do you get taxed or charged anything?
3. If my bank in UK see large deposits going in or a lump sum, do i have to be accountable to anyone?
Sorry for the daft questions but in all these years we havent sent our money home, but you never know if your days are numbered so thought i better start looking into it?
