There are some men working in my garden and pulling up some trees. I bring them water and coke, but now the one guy has asked me for food. It's not that I'm too mean to feed him but firstly I don't know what especially as there is no bread in the house due to a low carb diet I'm following and secondly I don't really have the time to go and make him lunch. What should I do? I think there are some biscuits somewhere at the back of the cupboard but I'm not surer they'd like them.

I always offer maintenance and garden workers a cold drink, but I have only ever fed the moving crew who unloaded and unpacked my house (I ordered them KFC), and occasionally my regular gardener if I have something extra on hand but he never expected or requested it.

I just spoke to the supervisor and he was quite surprised. He told me the guy was new and not to give him any food. He's knew and didn't know. Let's just hope the guy doesn't get into trouble for this.
