As Dubai continues to strive towards becoming the world’s smartest city, drivers in the emirate are being treated to a new payment method they can now use when refuelling.
It was announced this week by ENOC Group, in partnership with the Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai (RTA) that customers can now use their NOL cards to refuel.
The new payment method will be activated at all 118 ENOC service stations, and we’re sure customers will appreciate this new method entirely, as it eliminates the need to leave your car to insert your PIN.
You can now use your Nol card to pay for fuel, available at all our stations and at @Zoomcstore, @prontotogo, and @paavosuae!@RTA_Dubai pic.twitter.com/4CPxQW2YBk

In fact, customers at ENOC stations can use their NOL cards to pay for all products and services in Dubai – meaning you’ll be able to buy items in Zoom, Pronto and Paav’s Pizza, which are often found connected to an ENOC petrol station.
“The growing use of smart devices is driving the adoption of cash-less payments. Enabling payments through NoL cards demonstrates our commitment to the Smart City initiative; to enable and drive innovation across all our businesses, and to enhance customer experience”, said Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC.

The use of NOL cards to refuel comes as part of RTA’s strategic goal of ‘people happiness’.
Plus, the introduction of this service follows another 1,000 retail outlets across Dubai that are now allowing NOL card holders to pay for other groceries and purchases while out and about.
