Hello
I plan to stay from October 18 to October 26 in Dubai and Abu Dhabi (probably 18 - 22 morning in Abu Dhabi and afterwards in Dubai). I have now read that during this period the Diwali festival takes place. I am afraid of firecrackers / fireworks (phobia). If it is only official fireworks, I can plan to avoid them (when it is known when they happen and if it is not every evening). If it is private fireworks or firecrackers I would feel very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I have now read some posts about private firecrackers etc. in Abu Dhabi and Dubai during that period.
Does somebody have experiences during this period regarding the situation with firecrackers / fireworks?
