Do you neglect your children?

"Mumsnet has 1.25 million unique users a month.
Another website, the British Mummy Bloggers network, has almost 2,000 members (of which I am one); on Twitter, MumsRock has over 5,000 followers, (including me again) and there are thousands more mothers going online on Facebook, YouTube and the like, sharing intimate, sometimes fascinating — mostly boring — but always curiously irresistible snapshots of their lives as mums.
If it’s not a tweet about Little Darling’s latest poo (‘Uh-oh, someone’s been on the prune juice. Three nappies today #yuckybottie’) we’re uploading photos of it on to Facebook, blogging about it, or chatting in forums on one of the myriad parenting websites that have spread like nappy rash.
Much of this chattering about maternal woes, worries and baby milestones is pretty harmless — and it’s a lifeline if you’re after information, or like me, just need a laugh and good company because you’re stuck at home.
But there has to be a limit, and, like so many others, I’m exceeding mine by so far that I’m pretty much addicted."
I have to say that I am glad that Internet was in its very limited infancy when mine were young!
