Gave gardner a rollicking yesterday because the garden is dying. Came back home from shopping and found he had thrown foul smelling manure or something over the garden without telling me. Its that stuff that really reeks. Anyway..all good until I just thought "is it ok for the rabbit?" Rabbit seems highly miffed and not going on the grass but if it does an starts to eat the grass..umm...could it be potentially bad?

Sounds like he's put 'blood and bone' onto your lawn, which is a completely pet-friendly garden fertiliser, high in nitrogen, and v.good at adding nutrients to your garden. I am, of course, guessing ... but that stuff reeks to high heaven [unlike common chemical fertilisers which merely smell ... chemical-ly'>. If in doubt, keep Bugs inside for a day or two. ;)

Normally they use horse manure - so it probably won't kill the rabbit, but it might upset its tummy :(
