Fatburger it ISNT

Went there last night to eat, ordered the BIG smokey burger. The patty was as flimsy as a piece of paper and the whole burger was smaller than the smallest burger at McDonalds and the slice of cheese was the size of a postage stamp! They charge 35AED too. 35AED for a fast food burger???

Poke your burger up your ***, i wont be eating there again!!!

I also second Johnny Rockets, I love their malt shakes too. Although I can't eat burgers on a regular basis. Fat Burger lol eat burger =get fat!

I didn't like Fatburger either - it was very fast food like - at least johnny rockets has a more diner feel to it + they do a little dance which is quite funny :) in terms of food gbk best I thought but also more expensive

IMO you cannot beat GBK!! Their burgers are yummy but they put a Service Charge on the bill (which is illegal) and the price of their drinks and extras (fries/onion rings) is astronomical. Blimey, you know i didnt notice the charge...can it be reported to DM? This was about six months ago at the Marina Mall shop. We had a discussion with the Manager reluctantly removed it from our bill. So don't know if its still the same or they are getting away with it as so many people in Dubai never check their bills! I always check mine with a microscope LOL

Agree, I wasn't impressed with Fatburger (Beach Road) as well. Complained and they didn't seem to care, nice though we were given vouchers for our next visit - which we will probably NOT use as have no interest to return.

I have been to the one on beach road and the burgers are not great either. Very small and the patty has no taste. Definitely not worth what they are charging unfortunately.....

Oh that's disappointing - which one did you go to - we've been to the one on the beach road and the burgers were superb! went to the one at the Dubai Mall, its a fast food outlet. My friend said Fat Burger was so great that he used to dream about it, He has a big appetite so thought this would be great for the boyf. I spoke to the manager and he said he will make us another burger each, we didnt accept but I was really narked off. I dont mind paying money for good food, we go to nice restaurants and spend money so im not being tight, I just hate feeling like I have been ripped off! Izzy, dont worry I will be totally sober for our roadtrip!
