Any ideas where I can buy Fimo clay in Dubai? Still trying to find my way around and no idea where the craft shops are as yet.

Finally found actual Fimo by accident in Dubai Library Distributors on SZR - not a whole lot of choice of colours but at least they have some in stock and at 5 AED per pack its less than half the UK price!

Well I've done a bit of legwork (had to do soemthing whilst EW was off-air) and the Art Stop has lots of tools but no oven drying clay. Daiso has their own brand of oven drying clay but few tools. Loved the MCC Daiso - I'm used to the enormous, overstuffed, dusty one in Bahrain so to find it clean and bright and some order to the shelves was amazing... still wonderfully cramped with overstuffed shelves so somethings hadn't changed! Came away with all sorts of things I didn't know I wanted LOL!

A few years ago I know that Magrudy's on Beach road used to sell it.. Try Art Stop Jumeria Plaza on Beach road.. Give them a ring if you live to far away to just pop in.. Art Stop is worth visiting if you are into crafts ect...

Have not seen Fimo specifically but i was in Daiso in MCC recently and saw in the crafty bit something that as it happens i thought...oh, thats like Fimo... didnt have a close look to see if you had to bake it though.... you could try Borders i know the MCC big branch has quite a selection of crafty items... Ta - will take a look especially as not yet visited MCC... DH already thinks I've gone nuts visiting malls everywhere! He thinks going to our nearest supermarket is a shop too far!!
