I am looking for a new kitchen/dining table and like the look of the dark glass ones. I saw one in Home Centre yesterday but the black colour appears to be a sheet stuck on and had been accidentally scratched underneath to reveal clear glass. Are all dark glass tables made like this now? I remember smoked glass tables from the 70s and they were the same colour all the way through. If you know where to get dark glass tables where the glass stays dark even if scratched, please tell me!

Dragon mart has got good collection. Go to IB section and u can find the glass tables of different shapes and designs. Even the ones with an aquarium underneath. About the quality, definitely it wont match with the ones that u get from Ikea or IDesign...but its worth for the price. I`ve got one at home and is still in perfect condition. Dont know in wat state it wud be once we dismantle it and try to fix it again at the time of shifting. Long time to go, though. My personal opinion is that u can definitely match the quality with the ones u find it Home Center/Pan Emirates. As they too are made in China but priced a lot more for the brand name.
